Long-time member of the Sackville Farmers' Market, Crow Robichaud has had a long history as a vendor serving Sackville with delicious baked goods. Red Roof Ranch offers healthy foods using locally sourced foods usually from their fellow vendors.
Gregory runs Willow Farm with his spouse Tessa. Gregory has called the Sackville Market home over the last several years and is dedicated to helping the market continue to thrive. (Willow Farm will return in Spring/Summer 2025)
Although a new resident of Sackville, Judith has been visiting for over 30 years. "The Farmer's Market is an integral hub of the community and I am excited to be a part of its growth".
Peter runs Tintamarre Café and Café Flyée (Previously Dues ex Machina), the market's resident coffee truck. Peter has been a strong supporter of the Sackville Market and the role it plays in the Tantramar region and is ready to help the market continue to expand and grow.
Holstead Farms began as an idea from an urban backyard in Niagara Falls, Ontario. In December of 2020, Matt, Amanda and their five children moved across the country to begin "Holstead Farms." With their love of growing flowers, they decided to begin the shift into striving to meet the demand of Maritime Grown Flowers.
Philip is co-owner of The Dainty Pickle Bakery with his wife Christine Saelens. The Dainty Pickle is a home based bakery specializing in pate a choux products, various pastries, a specialty bread at the Sackville Market since June 2023. (On hiatus, stay tuned for their sweet return!)
We are a legally constitute body of volunteers; through our incorporation and by-laws, that acts on behalf of the voting members as collective trustees of the Sackville Farmers Market. Our decisions are made in the best interest of the Sackville Farmers Market.The Board and the organization were founded in 2012 to formalize the farmers' markets' existence as a community hub for local shopping. The board has since been run by a group of dedicated volunteers from the community and vendors from the Market. Each Board member serves a 3 year term on the Board.
As the market grew over the years, it allowed for the hiring of a Market Manager. In 2017, the Board made the transition from an operational board to a governance board in order to better manage and insure the growth and success of the Sackville Farmers Market.
