The Sackville Farmers Market Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2012, which formalized the farmer's market's existence as a community hub for local shopping.   

Our Mandate

The Market exists to:
a. Promote food that is grown and/or produced in the Maritime Provinces
b. Provide accessibility to locally grown and healthy products
c. Create local food systems connecting consumers with farmers, fishers, bakers, cooks and prepared food vendors
d. Promote artisan vendors who make quality products
e. To act as a business incubator
f. Provide an inclusive community space where people can mingle, socialize and find support; to build community connections
​ g. To collaborate with our municipality and other businesses in our community to make our region a destination for those from outside our community and a home for those within our community

Here at ACORN we firmly believe that organic food is best grown close to home, and thanks to the hard work of nearly 170 organic producers and processors, we don’t have to make a choice between local or organic – we can get the benefit of both!

The Sackville Commons

We're a mission-driven, volunteer-powered organization. As a social enterprise, we use a business model to offer a rad coworking space & services in downtown Sackville. As a member-owned non-profit co-operative, our mission is to host inclusive, collaborative spaces to support innovation, incubation, and resource sharing. 

Renaissance Sackville

Renaissance Sackville is an organization sponsored by the Town of Sackville. Its focus is the community development of Sackville and it offers modest seed funding and limited administrative support to new community initiatives whose purpose supports the Renaissance vision.
