New Board Members and Bylaw Amendment

A Special Meeting of the Members of the Sackville Farmers' Market was held on Saturday, May 31st to vote on an amendment to our bylaws and to elect new board members to our Board of Directors.

Bylaw 3.1 was under consideration, and the Membership voted to accept the proposed amendment: 'The Board of Directors shall serve without pay and consist of a minimum of four and a maximum of seven members. A majority of Directors shall be vendors at the Sackville Farmers Market.'

Three new board members were elected without contest. The Sackville Farmers' Market welcomes to the Board of Directors:

Woody Thompson, of Jolicure Farm
Crow Robichaud, of Red Roof Ranch, and
Shelley Dixon, of Dixon's Farm Fresh Beef
