Wysmykal Farm

Charles Ryan and Jesse Wysmyk own and operate Wysmykal Farm, a certified organic farm operating with a CSA (community supported agriculture) model. Wysmykal Farm is a small mixed vegetable farm growing many different varieties of organic vegetables while improving biodiversity and building healthy and resilient soil. Charles oversees most of the fieldwork and works on big picture operations, while Jesse oversees the harvest days, farm administration, and implementing projects that will improve the farm.

Willow Farm

Willow Farm is a small-scale market garden run by husband and wife team Tessa Kautzman and Gregory Burton. Their farm offers a diverse selection of seasonal vegetables as well as some fruits, herbs and preserves. Willow Farm strives to improve soil health and manage pressure from pests, weeds and disease using natural resources. Their products are available at their on-site Farm Stand, the Sackville and Shediac Farmers’ Markets, and through their family Farm Share (CSA).

Nature's Route Farm

Kent Coates started Nature’s Route Farm in 2007 and his farm has been selling at the Sackville Farmers' Market ever since. The farm's great tasting organic vegetables are available at the Sackville Farmers' Market, The Dieppe Market, the Moncton Market as well as selected niche retailers throughout southern NB, PEI and Halifax, NS. Specializing in storage crops, their carrots and other root crops are typically available year round while their market table expands to include seasonal veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and more during late summer and fall months.

Open Sky Co-op

Located on an 11-acre property on the edge of the marsh, Open Sky Co-operative is a community-based charity that provides skills programs, vocational assistance, in-home support, and community connections for neurodivergent adults. Daily and seasonal rhythms of farm life along with community engagement provide the integrated learning environments for their day programs. Their products - including preserves, pickles, fresh produce, and farm-fresh eggs - are available seasonally at the Sackville Farmer's Market, at the farm gate at 12 Folkins Drive, or by participating in their weekly CSA program.

Jolicure Farms

Jolicure Farms, run by owner Elita Rahn, offers an assortment of seasonal vegetables, as well as a farm share program and weekly veggie subscriptions. Jolicure strives to use the best practices to support a healthy ecosystem; no pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers, and using solar energy and wind to provide all of the electricity for the farm. Be sure to check out their booth for fresh veggies and additional artisanal products and goodies, such as Elita's market-famous Montreal style bagels!

These experiences fuelled my love for growing things! Portage Pork Plus

Portage Pork Plus, located in Portage, NB is owned and operated by Arndt and Gabriele Becker and their family. Portage Pork Plus sells fresh and frozen cuts of pork, lamb, and chicken from their farm, prepared dishes like pulled pork and goulash, fresh eggs, and vegetables in season. You can visit Portage Pork Plus at their farm shop or at the Sackville and Dieppe Farmers’ Markets on Saturday mornings, as well as their facebook page.

Dixon's Farm Fresh Beef

Point de Bute, NB, is home to Dixon Farms – a cattle farm owned by Roy and Shelley Dixon, run with the help of their family. The Dixon's herd is antibiotic and steroid-free. Check out their amazing variety of cuts of fresh and frozen beef, burger patties, and jerky, or just stop by and say hello to Shelley at the market – she’s incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions on the market, the farm or to just chat!

Newville Lakeview Farm

Newville Lakeview Farms has been in operation for over 110 years! Although Newville Lakeview Farms now employs more modern sap collection techniques, utilizing pipelines instead of buckets, they continue to produce pure maple products in the old-fashioned manner at the camp.
