A Special Meeting of the Members of the Sackville Farmers' Market was held on Saturday, May 31st to vote on an amendment to our bylaws and to elect new board members to our Board of Directors.
Bylaw 3.1 was under consideration, and the Membership voted to accept the proposed amendment: 'The Board of Directors shall serve without pay and consist of a minimum of four and a maximum of seven members. A majority of Directors shall be vendors at the Sackville Farmers Market.' Three new board members were elected without contest. The Sackville Farmers' Market welcomes to the Board of Directors: Woody Thompson, of Jolicure Farm Crow Robichaud, of Red Roof Ranch, and Shelley Dixon, of Dixon's Farm Fresh Beef Executive roles will be chosen by board members and posted on our website. Over 45 vendors and community groups will be joining us on Saturday, May 17th! There are new vendors joining us and some favourites that are making a cameo appearance just for this weekend!
Be sure to check out Duitman Designs back with amazing charcuterie boards and more! Gerrit is moving, so this is your last chance to get one of his incredible creations! Feel the Groove are passing through town with their amazing tie-die if you need to add some colour to your wardrobe. Also joining us is Parfum D’Anne with homemade fragrances and body butters and Swamp Punk will be back with upcycled jewellery, clothing and other creations! For the food lovers: Ideal Bites will be joining us for their first market with vegan energy bites! Ella & Cam’s Maple will be on the scene with syrup made by their family right here in Sackville! And Cai Lin is one of our new hot food vendors and will have some tasty sushi and fishballs this week at the Market. Plus Willow Farm is back with us for this first market of the season! And rumour has it there could even be an appearance by Cafe Flyee… The Sackville Farmers Market has moved to the park!🐓

Thanks to everyone who helped us colour our moving poster last weekend at the market! We're blown away by everyone's designs- there's so much talent and creativity in our community!
